This is the addition of a volume on the roof, more precisely on the rear terrace (garden side) on the second floor of the house. The house only had two levels in addition to the ground floor, of which the second floor is only partially built, much of it being devoted to a flat roof. The new volume will house the master bedroom as well as an office space, in particular to acoustically isolate the new volume from the rest of the house.
