This low energy single-family house located on the heights of Liège plays on local urban codes. The volume arises on this very steep terrain by integrating the slope inside the house. We revisit the typical Liege house by inverting the program. The living room is located on the last level while the rooms are on the lower floors. In this way we optimize the views at each level. The south light, street side, enters the house through a glazed stairwell on the front facade. Worked as a space in its own right, it induces visual and spatial contacts between the different levels.A work on the apparatus of the bricks (imposed by the urbanistic regulation) was practiced in order to filter the views since the street.
